Dear Lauren: Apparently the terrible swift sword of the Great Recession swept through the Sunset staff? Argh! My remaining friends at the Sacramento Bee say they’re afraid to go to the bathroom…their desks might be gone when the return. I will NOT be surprised when McClatchy files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and drops its print editions to go on line. How tragic! You’ve wound up at a GREAT place, though. Tell Joanie a kind old man you know wants to rub noses with her!
